We grew up in the Netherlands and have done many different things over the years. Yet, one passion has always been a common thread throughout our lives: the flower business and a love of creativity.

In 2021, we decided to embark on a new adventure and moved to Tasebo in Värmland, Sweden. Here, we found our special place surrounded by nature: Forrest Tasebo.

Forrest Tasebo is located in the forests of Värmland, where we rent out two charming holiday cottages: David's Stuga and Rosa's Stuga. A wonderful place for guests who want to enjoy the Swedish outdoors, nature walks, and the tranquility of the forest.

Because we love doing things that make us happy, you can often find us, especially during the summer months, at markets, events, and parties in Värmland with our little red food truck. In it, we happily prepare Dutch stroopwafels, Dutch poffertjes, hamburgers, and other delicacies.

And our love of flowers and creativity lives on in Handmade to Bloom. A small flower shop where we make handmade crepe paper flowers, sell DIY kits, materials, and beautiful creations. We also organize creative workshops in making crepe paper flowers. During these fun workshops, it's all about creating together, finding inspiration, and enjoying a relaxing moment.

And then, in the frequently asked questions category, the answer to "Who's is Who?"

You might see different names when you browse through our websites. In the Netherlands, people know us as Marco and José, but in Sweden, they usually use our official names: Maarten and Johanna. This sometimes causes some confusion and often leads to nice conversations with our guests, as we happily use the names interchangeably. Whichever name you hear, you're always welcome at Forrest Tasebo, Handmade to Bloom, and Foodtruck värmland.
